My New Book: Tunisian Crochet Workshop

Tunisian Crochet Workshop Book by Poppy & Bliss

Do you remember a few posts ago, I quietly mentioned that I’d written a book?

Well, the day has finally come that I can let out the secret the I’ve been bursting to tell for so long now and I can start shouting it from the rooftops.  Yippee!

It was an exciting day here when the postie delivered an advance print copy.  Champagne was drunk and a little happy dance was had.

My book is called Tunisian Crochet Workshop and is an ‘all you need to know’ about Tunisian crochet filled with stitch patterns, projects and how to’s.

Click on the book for a little sneak peek inside

The book will be available in September but is available now for pre-order on Amazon now.

Well that’s it from me now but I’ll be back to tell you more about my book later and there is a blog hop planned in the coming weeks too.  How exciting!

Until next time

  1. Congratulations – I’m already keen to buy a copy of your book. I find Tunisian crochet quite relaxing and look forward to expanding my skills.

  2. Hi Michelle, Congratulations👏👏 Your book looks amazing, you should be very proud. If you would like to do a signing or release at Unwind, we would love to support that.

Can we get copies to sell in store?

    Take care

  3. congratulations! It looks beautiful! I may have to give tunisian crochet a go again, I’ve tried it once but found it strange because I couldn’t hold my hook the way I usually do with all the stitches on it lol. Definitely need to try again!

  4. Hello, I just received my copy of your book and it is hands down amazing. Due to my health issues I had to find my crochet bug again as my bed has become my friend. I discovered Tunisian by needing a new stitch besides double crochet. I had fallen in love. I found your book on Amazon and will be busy working on the stitch sample blanket that was a genius addition. I just wanted you to know how much I will be enjoying your book and look forward to your next one 😊😊😊

  5. I have been rediscovering Tunisian Crochet — honestly it has been so long that I cannot even remember any projects I made. I am loving working through your book, trying things. Thanks so much for the comprehensive and easy to follow instructions.

  6. I’m back looking for a Technique. I’m working on the Base of the Entrelac Bag on page 78. At the end of Wedge 12, it says to join using the ladder stitch (see Techniques). I’ve search the Techniques (page 136), index, and table of contents but can’t find the ladder stitch. I’ve done some searching but the net seems full of the Jacob’s Ladder stitch… not a simple joining technique. Could you point out any resources for the ladder stitch?

    • Hi there Carmen. Sorry about the confusion. Looks like you’ve spotted an error (yikes 😦 What it should say is ‘join with Mattress Stitch’ (which is also known as Ladder stitch) but in this case the instructions for Mattress stitch are on page 63.

  7. Hi, I have just bought your book and am so excited I can hardly wait. My Grandmother taught me Tunisian years and years ago but with life I forgot about it. What a thrill it will be when the book arrives and I begin again. Thank you for sharing your talent.
