Ta-Daaahh!!

I’ve been missing in action these last few weeks working furiously on a custom order of my Kallora blanket.

All good intentions of regular posts have flown out the window to get this done and now I’m about to head off to New Zealand for a couple of weeks so more missing in action should be expected from me.  But I’m looking forward to getting back to my little blog and fluffing it back up once I’m all settled.

In the meantime here are some behind the scenes progress shots … carefully culled so you don’t get to see me bleary eyed on the couch at 2am weaving in ends (and ends and ends)

It all started with this delivery of squishy goodness….

Then 145 squares were made ….

Yay!  Half way there ….

Oh dear!  Look at those ends ….

3 days of weaving ends later and a hip, hip, hooray it’s finished!

I’m so in love with this one and it will be hard to send away to it’s new home but I hope they will love it as much as I do.

Time to get packing for my trip now.

Talk soon

New Pattern – Squircles

SquirclesCollage_withtitle

Wow it’s been nearly a year since I released my last pattern.  Oops! Time kind of got away from me there …. I’ve been busy.

But after much crocheting, typing, proof-reading , testing, jiggling and tweaking the Squircles pattern is finally finished.  Woohoo!

I really love how the Aqua, Mint and Silver work with the Slate in this blanket.  I’ve decided that Slate is the new black and is my new favourite colour.

It  also works well in other colours too.  Here’s just a few …

I hope you like Squircles as much as I do.  If you’d like to make your very own Squircles blanket, the pattern is now available in my Etsy and Ravelry stores.

Until next time – happy hooking
